The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to close the regular submission window for the List of Candidates (LOC) for the 2027 Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations today, October 21, 2026. Schools affiliated with the board are required to complete the registration process for all eligible students through the official Pariksha Sangam portal on the CBSE website by the end of the day to avoid incurring additional late fees.
The submission process, which initially commenced on September 24, 2026, serves as a critical step in the board examination cycle. By finalizing these details, schools ensure that all candidates are officially registered for the upcoming academic assessments. The board has emphasized the importance of accuracy during this data entry phase, urging school administrators to verify all student information thoroughly before final submission.
Following the conclusion of the regular submission period today, the board has scheduled a window for submissions with a late fee, which will remain open from October 22 to October 30, 2026. Once the registration phase is complete, a dedicated data verification and correction window will be available to schools from November 2 to November 4, 2026, allowing for the rectification of any errors in the submitted records.
During the registration process, schools are mandated to confirm the accuracy of several key details, including the student's full name, date of birth, gender, category, and the names of parents or guardians. Furthermore, the board has highlighted the necessity of verifying the selected subjects against the prescribed scheme of studies. For Class 10 students, this includes ensuring the correct selection between Mathematics Basic and Mathematics Standard is recorded accurately in the system.
The List of Candidates is a foundational document for the board, as the information provided is utilized for essential examination activities, such as the generation of roll numbers and the issuance of admit cards. Maintaining precise records is vital to prevent administrative complications for students during the examination period. Schools are advised to finalize their entries promptly to ensure all eligible candidates are successfully included in the official records.
