The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the date sheet for the 2027 Class 10 board examinations. With the commencement of the exams set for February 16, 2027, students can now access the full schedule to structure their revision plans and prepare for the upcoming assessment period. The board has confirmed that all examinations will begin at 10:30 AM, with durations varying based on the specific subject requirements.

As students begin their final preparations, the distribution of dates for major subjects has become a primary focus. The schedule provides varying intervals between core papers, which the board intends to help students manage their study time effectively. According to the official notification, the Mathematics examination is scheduled for February 17, followed by the Science paper on February 22, providing a five-day window for revision. Subsequently, the English paper is slated for February 26, allowing a four-day gap, while a ten-day interval is provided before the Social Science examination, which will take place on March 8, 2027.

Exam Schedule and Preparation Guidelines

Beyond the four major subjects, the board has outlined a broader timetable to accommodate various elective and core papers. The examination cycle begins on February 16 with the Painting paper. This is followed by Mathematics (Basic and Standard) on February 17, Home Science on February 19, Science on February 22, and Computer Applications and Information Technology on February 24. The English Communicative and English Language and Literature papers are scheduled for February 26, concluding with the Social Science examination on March 8.

To successfully clear the Class 10 board exams, students are required to achieve a minimum of 33 percent marks in each subject, a criteria that encompasses both theory and internal assessments. Specifically, candidates must secure at least 27 marks in the theory component and a minimum of 7 out of 20 marks in their internal assessments. The board has also implemented changes to the exam structure this year, introducing a two-phase examination process designed to reduce student stress and offer additional opportunities for improvement within the same academic cycle.

As the examination dates approach, educators and officials suggest that students focus on revising previously studied material rather than attempting to cover new chapters. Utilizing official sample papers and reviewing previous years' question papers are recommended strategies for gaining familiarity with the current exam pattern. While various coaching institutes may release unofficial answer keys following the conclusion of each paper, students should rely on their preparation and official board guidelines for all academic requirements.
