The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the results for the Class 12 Special Examination 2026 conducted for students residing in the West Asia region. The announcement, made on November 6, marks the conclusion of the assessment process for candidates who appeared for these specific examinations held in October.
These special examinations were organised by the board between October 23 and October 28, 2026. The initiative was specifically designed for Class 12 students across several countries in the West Asia region, including Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. For these students, the newly declared results serve as the final assessment, officially replacing the marks previously assigned under the earlier Assessment Scheme.
Students who participated in the special examinations can view and download their results exclusively through the DigiLocker platform. The board has confirmed that these results are final, and the updated marks will now stand as the official record for the students involved. To access the scorecards, candidates are required to log in to their DigiLocker accounts using their credentials as registered with the board.
The decision to hold these special examinations and the subsequent release of results follows the board's commitment to ensuring that students in the West Asia region have their academic performance accurately reflected. With the declaration of these results, the examination process for this specific cohort is now complete. Students are advised to download their updated mark sheets from the digital repository for future academic and professional requirements.
