The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) has announced that the deadline for the third round of choice filling for the Chhattisgarh NEET UG 2026 counselling process is today, October 8. Candidates who are eligible to participate in this round must finalize their preferences for MBBS and BDS courses by 11:59 PM.
This phase of the counselling process is being conducted exclusively through the official portal at cgdme.admissions.nic.in. Eligible students are required to log in to the platform to select their preferred government and private medical and dental colleges. It is essential for all participants to ensure their choices are not only selected but also officially locked within the system before the midnight deadline.
To participate in the Round 3 choice filling process, candidates should visit the official website at cgdme.admissions.nic.in. Once on the homepage, students must locate and click on the link designated for NEET UG 2026 Round 3 choice filling and college preferences. After logging in with their registration credentials, candidates can proceed to select their desired MBBS and BDS colleges and courses.
The authorities advise candidates to arrange their selections in their preferred order of priority. Before finalizing the submission, it is critical to review all chosen options carefully. Once the preferences are locked, students should save or download the confirmation page for their personal records. Failure to lock the choices may result in the system not considering the preferences for the seat allotment process.
Following the closure of the choice filling window, the counselling authority will begin the seat allotment process. The final allocation of seats will be determined based on several factors, including the candidate's NEET UG 2026 rank, their category, the availability of seats in the respective institutions, and the applicable reservation policies.
The results of the Round 3 seat allotment will be published on the official counselling portal. Once the results are declared, candidates who are successfully allotted a seat will be required to proceed with the subsequent stages of the admission process, which include reporting to the designated institution and completing the mandatory document verification requirements.
