The Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) has officially opened the registration window for the four-year BSc Nursing program for the 2026-27 academic session. Candidates who have qualified for the NEET UG 2026 examination are now invited to submit their applications through the university's designated online portal.
The registration process, which began on September 9, 2026, serves as the primary gateway for students seeking admission into the nursing course. Applicants are advised to review the official guidelines thoroughly before completing their submissions to ensure all provided information is accurate and verifiable, as the university has indicated that applications from ineligible candidates will be subject to rejection.
To be considered for admission, candidates must meet specific academic and age criteria. Applicants are required to be at least 17 years of age by December 31, 2026. Academically, students must have successfully completed their 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as core subjects. A minimum aggregate of 45% in these science subjects is mandatory for general category students, while those belonging to reserved categories must hold at least a 40% aggregate.
The application process requires the submission of various supporting documents in digital format. Candidates must prepare scanned copies of their NEET rank card, marks memos, transfer and study certificates, as well as relevant caste or income certificates and identity proof. The university has specified that all PDF documents must be under 1,000 KB, while photographs and signatures must be kept under 500 KB to be accepted by the portal.
The university has set a non-refundable application fee for the registration process. Candidates falling under the OC category are required to pay INR 2,500, while applicants from BC, SC, and ST categories must pay an application fee of INR 2,000. It is essential for all prospective students to complete their registration and fee payment before the final deadline of September 16, 2026.
Following the conclusion of the application window, the state merit list will be compiled based on the NEET UG 2026 scores. Students are encouraged to monitor the official NTRUHS website regularly for further updates regarding the admission schedule and subsequent counseling procedures.
