
The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has officially announced the results for the Class 12th Supplementary Examination 2026 today, August 21. This announcement pertains to the supplementary session held in July 2026, which includes candidates who appeared for compartment exams, performance improvement, additional subjects, and diploma holders. Students can access their results by visiting the official HPBOSE website and entering their roll numbers.
According to the board's notification, a total of 3,271 candidates participated in the supplementary examination. Out of these, 1,931 candidates successfully passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 59.07%. However, 1,123 candidates remain in compartment status, indicating that they will have another opportunity to clear their subjects. To pass, students must achieve a minimum of 33% in both theory and practical assessments.
For those seeking re-evaluation or re-checking of their answer sheets, the board has provided an online application process. Students must apply through their respective schools, with re-evaluation costing Rs 1,000 per subject and re-checking costing Rs 800 per subject. The deadline for submitting these applications is September 4, 2026.
Students are advised to verify several key details on their results, including their roll number, name, subject-wise marks, total marks, qualifying status, and the name of their school. It is important to note that the results released online are provisional, and students must collect their original mark sheets from their schools.
