ICAI Declares CA Intermediate September 2026 Examination Results

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially announced the results for the CA Intermediate examination held in September 2026. Candidates who participated in the assessment can now access their individual scorecards, as well as the comprehensive merit list and pass percentage data, through the official ICAI results website.

The examination, which was conducted in an offline format, took place between September 4 and September 15, 2026. With the results now live, successful candidates are eligible to proceed to the next stage of their professional qualification, the CA Final course.

Accessing Your CA Intermediate Scorecard

To view and download their results, candidates are required to visit the official portal at caresults.icai.org. Accessing the scorecard requires specific login credentials, including the candidate's 6-digit roll number and their registration number. Users must also complete a captcha verification step to ensure secure access to their personal examination data.

The ICAI has provided a centralized platform for students to check their performance across both groups. In addition to individual scorecards, the institute has published the All India Rank (AIR) toppers list and the overall pass percentage statistics for the September session. These documents provide a detailed overview of the examination outcomes for students who appeared for Group 1, Group 2, or both groups simultaneously.

Next Steps for Successful Candidates

For those who have successfully cleared the September 2026 Intermediate examinations, the path forward involves transitioning to the final level of the Chartered Accountancy curriculum. The release of these results marks the conclusion of the September examination cycle, allowing qualified students to begin their preparations or registration processes for the CA Final course.

Candidates are advised to download and retain a digital copy of their scorecard for their records. The official website remains the primary source for all result-related documentation, including merit lists and statistical breakdowns of the examination performance.
