IIM Ahmedabad Concludes Summer Placement Drive for PGP Class of 2028

The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) has officially concluded its summer placement process for the PGP Class of 2028. The final phase, known as Cluster 3, took place on October 30, 2026, marking the end of the recruitment cycle for the current academic year.

The placement drive was conducted in a hybrid format, allowing recruiters to engage with candidates through both in-person and online interviews. This final cluster resulted in more than 70 roles being offered to students, spanning a wide range of professional sectors and industries.

Diverse Industry Participation in Cluster 3

The third cluster featured participation from companies across 12 distinct industry cohorts, reflecting the broad scope of the recruitment drive. These sectors included Analytics and IT Consulting, Artificial Intelligence, Banking and Insurance, Consumer Electronics, Consumer Technology, and Enterprise Technology. Additionally, recruiters represented fields such as Infrastructure and Core Manufacturing, Logistics and Supply Chain, Niche Consulting, Renewable Energy and Green Technology, and Social Enterprises and NGOs.

Several prominent organizations participated in the hiring process. In the Enterprise Technology sector, recruiters included Microsoft, Sprinklr, Hexaware, and Ascendion Engineering. The Analytics and IT Consulting cohort saw significant activity, with TCS recording the highest number of hires, alongside participation from Accordion India and Indegene. The Artificial Intelligence cohort attracted firms such as DCirrus Cloud, CRMIT Solutions, and Suchama AI.

Sector Highlights and Future Updates

The Banking and Insurance sector saw engagement from major financial institutions, including Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and NaBFID. Meanwhile, the Infrastructure and Core Manufacturing cohort included companies like Tata Steel, Jindal Steel Oman, Satyam Auto, AD Engineer, and the startup Optimised Solutions. Other notable recruiters across the various cohorts included Bangalore International Airport Ltd. (BIAL), Motilal Oswal, ReNew, Tesco, Beghou Consulting, and Iresh Consultants.

With the successful completion of Cluster 3, IIM Ahmedabad has finalized its summer placement activities for the PGP Class of 2028. The institute has indicated that a consolidated press release providing a comprehensive overview of the entire placement season will be published in the near future.
