IIT Madras Pravartak and SWAYAM Plus Unveil New Multi-Cloud and Cybersecurity Programme

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation has partnered with SWAYAM Plus to launch a comprehensive Multi-Cloud Foundation with Security programme. Designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and industry requirements, this 100-hour course focuses on equipping participants with practical skills in cloud computing and cybersecurity.

The curriculum is tailored for students, recent graduates, and working professionals who are looking to build or advance their careers in the technology sector. By integrating live online instruction with hands-on campus-based learning, the programme aims to provide a robust understanding of how cloud services function across the industry's three leading platforms: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Programme Structure and Eligibility Requirements

The 100-hour course covers a wide range of essential technical topics, including multi-cloud architecture, compute and storage solutions, networking, database services, and cloud cost management. Additionally, the cybersecurity component of the training addresses critical areas such as threat detection, identity and access management, encryption, compliance, and incident response.

To ensure a high-quality learning experience, the programme includes an immersive component held at the IIT Madras campus. Due to the nature of these in-person sessions, the institute has confirmed that the batch size will be limited. Prospective applicants are expected to possess a foundational understanding of infrastructure concepts, such as CPU, memory, networking, and the TCP/IP protocol, to successfully navigate the course material.
