Maharashtra AYUSH Admission 2026: Registration for Round 1 Closes Today

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, is set to conclude the registration window for the first round of AYUSH and allied health course admissions for the 2026-27 academic session today, September 18, 2026. Candidates seeking admission into professional undergraduate programs, including Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), and Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS), must ensure their applications are submitted by the end of the day.

This centralized counselling process is open to students who have successfully qualified for the NEET UG 2026 examination. In addition to the primary AYUSH courses, the current admission cycle also encompasses various paramedical and professional health disciplines, such as BPTh, BOTh, BASLP, BP&O, and BNYS, offered across both government and private institutions throughout the state.

Key Dates and Admission Schedule

Today marks the final opportunity for applicants to complete their online registration, process the required application fee payment, and upload the necessary scanned copies of their original documents. Following the closure of the registration portal, the authorities will transition to the document verification phase, which is scheduled to take place at designated centres until September 19, 2026.

Once the verification process is complete, the State CET Cell will release the provisional list of candidates who have successfully registered for the first round of counselling on September 20, 2026. Prospective students should note that the final state merit list is slated for publication on September 24, 2026. This will be followed by the release of the first selection merit list on September 27, 2026.
