The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has officially confirmed the schedule for the upcoming Higher Secondary practical examinations for the 2027 academic session. According to the board's annual working calendar, these practical assessments are slated to be conducted over a three-week period early next year, providing students with a clear timeline for their laboratory and project-based evaluations.
The practical examinations are scheduled to commence on January 22, 2027, and will continue through to February 13, 2027. This announcement serves as a critical update for students preparing for their final higher secondary assessments, allowing them to align their study schedules with the board's official timeline for practical testing.
In addition to the practical exam dates, the council has provided preliminary information regarding the broader examination calendar. The board is expected to release the official routine for the Semester IV examinations in the coming months, with the publication window set for November or December of this year. This upcoming schedule will be essential for students as they plan their final preparations for the academic year.
The board also noted that the Semester III examinations for 2027 are scheduled to be held from September 21 to September 14. Regarding recent administrative adjustments, the council previously implemented revisions to the examination dates for specific subjects, citing the observance of Karam Puja and the scheduling of bye-elections as the primary reasons for these changes. In response to these modifications, the board issued revised admit cards to ensure that all candidates were correctly informed of their updated testing arrangements.
