MAT PBT September 2026: Exam Day Guidelines and Reporting Instructions

The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) in the Paper-Based Test (PBT) format is scheduled to take place tomorrow, September 13, 2026. As the examination approaches, candidates are advised to finalise their preparations and ensure they have all necessary documentation ready for entry into their designated test centres. The exam will be held in a single shift across more than 20 cities throughout India.

All registered participants should have already downloaded their official admit cards. It is essential for students to verify their specific test centre location well in advance to avoid any last-minute confusion. The examination is set to commence at 10:00 am and will conclude at 12:00 pm, with no scheduled breaks during the two-hour duration. Candidates falling under the PwD category will be provided with additional time as per official regulations.

Exam Day Protocols and Reporting Requirements

To maintain the integrity of the assessment, the All India Management Association (AIMA) will conduct the examination under CCTV surveillance. Strict adherence to the reporting schedule is mandatory for all test-takers. The entry gates for the examination centres will be closed 30 minutes before the start of the paper. Consequently, all candidates are required to arrive at their respective centres no later than 9:30 am to complete the necessary security checks and verification procedures.

Candidates must carry their printed admit cards to the venue, as entry will not be permitted without valid documentation. It is recommended that students cross-reference the reporting time printed on their individual hall tickets to ensure they comply with the specific instructions provided by the examination board. By arriving early and ensuring all required documents are in order, candidates can help facilitate a smooth and orderly start to the examination process.
