The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is set to conclude the reporting phase for the third round of NEET UG 2026 counselling tomorrow, October 9, 2026. Candidates who have been allocated seats in MBBS or BDS programmes during this round are required to complete their physical reporting at their respective institutions before the deadline expires.
This phase of the counselling process is critical for students who received a fresh seat allotment or those who opted for an upgrade in their college selection. Failure to complete the necessary admission formalities and physical verification at the assigned college within the stipulated timeframe will result in the forfeiture of the allocated seat.
Before heading to their designated colleges, candidates are required to download their official seat allotment letter from the MCC website at mcc.nic.in. This document serves as a mandatory requirement for the physical verification process conducted by the institutions. The reporting process ensures that all credentials and eligibility documents are verified by the college authorities to confirm the candidate's admission.
The third round of the All India Quota (AIQ) counselling saw a total of 4,687 candidates secure seats. This round also incorporated an expansion of the seat matrix, with the addition of 183 new medical and dental seats, providing further opportunities for aspirants. As the deadline of October 9 approaches, students are advised to ensure they have all necessary documentation prepared to avoid any complications during the final admission stage.
