NIOS October 2026 Date Sheet for Class 10 and 12 Expected Soon

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is expected to release the official date sheet for the October-November 2026 theory examinations for both Class 10 and Class 12 students in the near future. As the examination period approaches, candidates registered for these public exams are advised to monitor the official website for the subject-wise schedule.

While a specific release date for the timetable has not been confirmed by the board, the theory examinations are slated to commence in the first week of October 2026. This timeline aligns with previous announcements made by the Ministry of Education regarding the coordination of examination centres for the upcoming session.

Details Included in the NIOS Examination Schedule

Once the official notification is published, the date sheet will be accessible through the NIOS student portal at sdmis.nios.ac.in. The document will provide essential information for students, including the specific date and day for each paper, the subject name, the corresponding subject code, and the designated timing for the examinations. These details are critical for students to plan their final preparations effectively.

The NIOS conducts public examinations twice annually, with the October-November session serving as a major window for learners. It is important to note that the practical examinations for this session have already been addressed, with the official notification for those assessments having been issued on September 6, 2026.

How to Access the Official Date Sheet

When the board releases the final timetable, students can download the document by navigating to the official NIOS student portal. Upon reaching the website, candidates should locate the examination or notification section to find the link for the October-November 2026 date sheet. The portal will provide separate links for Secondary (Class 10) and Senior Secondary (Class 12) courses.

After clicking the relevant link, the date sheet will appear in a PDF format, which students are encouraged to download and save for future reference. Candidates are reminded to rely solely on the official sdmis.nios.ac.in portal for updates to ensure they are viewing the most accurate and verified information regarding their examination schedule.
