The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the cancellation of the AIAPGET 2026 exam at a specific center due to unforeseen circumstances. The All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) is conducted annually to facilitate admissions into postgraduate courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy across various government and private medical colleges in India. This year, the exam was held in an online format nationwide, with the first shift dedicated to the Ayurveda stream.
During the examination at the Shri Satya Sai PG College Centre in Jaipur, a total of 192 candidates were present. However, a significant disruption occurred when a power failure affected the testing environment, preventing 49 candidates from completing their exams. The NTA confirmed this incident through a public notice on social media platform X, outlining the steps that would be taken to address the situation.
In response to the power outage, the NTA has scheduled a re-examination for the affected candidates. This make-up exam will take place on September 1 at 10:00 AM at the Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women in Jaipur. The agency is committed to ensuring that all candidates have a fair opportunity to complete their assessments and pursue their academic goals.
The AIAPGET is a crucial examination for aspiring postgraduate students in the Ayush system, and the NTA's swift action in rescheduling the exam reflects its dedication to maintaining the integrity of the examination process. Candidates are encouraged to stay updated on any further announcements regarding the exam and other related information.
As the education sector continues to evolve, the NTA remains a key player in facilitating examinations and ensuring that students have access to necessary resources and support. For the latest updates on exam results, schedules, and educational policies, candidates and stakeholders are advised to follow official communications from the NTA.
