Candidates participating in the Punjab NEET PG counselling 2026 process have until the end of today, October 29, 2026, to complete their choice filling for the first round of admissions. The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has set this deadline for all NEET PG 2026 qualified applicants who wish to secure a seat in MD or MS programmes across the state.
The online window for selecting preferences opened on October 24, 2026. As the deadline approaches, officials have reminded candidates that the submission of college and specialty combinations is a mandatory step for inclusion in the upcoming seat allotment process. Once the portal closes, students will no longer have the opportunity to modify or edit their submitted preferences.
To complete the process, candidates must log in to the official BFUHS website. After navigating to the active link for NEET PG 2026 online counselling, applicants can access the choice entry form through their personal dashboard using their application number and password. From there, they are required to select their preferred medical colleges and specialities from the provided drop-down menu, ensuring they are arranged in the desired order of priority.
The university has advised students to exercise caution and diligence when arranging their preferences, as these selections will be used to determine seat allocation based on individual state ranks. Following the conclusion of the choice-filling window, the university will process the data to generate the round one seat allotment results, which are officially scheduled to be released on November 2, 2026. Candidates are encouraged to monitor the official portal for further updates regarding the subsequent fee payment steps and reporting requirements following the announcement of the allotment results.
