The Symbiosis Institute of Digital and Telecom Management (SIDTM), Pune, has officially opened its application window for the MBA batch of 2027. Prospective students aiming for admission to the institute’s specialised programme in Digital and Telecom Management are required to participate in the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) 2026 as a mandatory first step.
To be considered for the programme, applicants must complete two distinct registration processes: one for the national-level entrance examination and another specifically for the SIDTM institute. Both registration portals have been active since August 21, 2026, and candidates are advised to ensure all documentation and fee payments are finalised well before the respective closing dates.
Candidates interested in applying must hold a graduation degree from a recognised university or an institution of national importance. The academic eligibility criteria require a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade for general category applicants, while candidates from Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) backgrounds are eligible with a minimum of 45% marks.
The application procedure involves registering on the official SNAP website, where candidates must provide their personal and academic details. During this process, applicants must select their preferred SNAP test dates and pay the examination fee of INR 2,550 per test. Additionally, candidates must select the SIDTM MBA programme as their choice of interest and pay a separate programme registration fee of INR 1,000, plus applicable taxes.
The deadline to register for the SNAP 2026 exam and settle the associated fees is November 25, 2026. The entrance tests are scheduled to take place on three separate dates: December 13, December 19, and December 26, 2026. Following the conclusion of these tests, the results are expected to be announced on January 12, 2027.
It is crucial for applicants to note that the deadline for the separate SIDTM institute-level registration is January 11, 2027. Once the SNAP results are released, the institute will proceed with its selection process, which includes shortlisting candidates for Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interaction (PI) rounds. The official declaration of the shortlist is scheduled for January 21, 2027.
