The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) has officially initiated the choice filling process for the third round of the West Bengal NEET UG 2026 counselling. Candidates seeking admission into MBBS and BDS programmes across the state can now log in to the official portal to submit their preferred college and course selections.
This phase of the counselling process is open to all eligible candidates who have successfully completed their registration and document verification stages. The window for submitting and locking these choices opened on October 1 and will remain active until October 4, 2026. Participants are advised to complete their submissions within this timeframe to be considered for the subsequent seat allotment.
Following the conclusion of the choice filling period, the WBMCC will process the preferences to determine seat allocations. The official results for the Round 3 seat allotment are scheduled to be released on October 8, 2026, after 4 PM. Candidates will be able to access these results through the official website at wbmcc.nic.in.
Once the seat allotment results are published, the process will move to the final stage of reporting and admission. Candidates who are allotted seats during this round must report to their respective institutions to complete the admission formalities. This reporting window is set for October 12 to October 14, 2026, with daily operations running from 10 AM to 4 PM. It is essential for students to adhere to these designated dates to secure their admission, as failure to report within the specified period may impact their candidacy.
