The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially declared the results for the 2026 Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles examination. Candidates who participated in the Computer-Based Examination (CBE) can now access their results and the accompanying write-up on the commission's official website, ssc.gov.in.
According to the official data released by the commission, a total of 21,56,776 candidates appeared for the examination. Out of this pool, 1,97,408 individuals have been provisionally shortlisted to advance to the next phase of the recruitment process, which consists of the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and the Physical Standard Test (PST). This represents approximately 9.15% of the total number of test-takers.
The commission has provided a detailed breakdown of the candidates who have qualified for the PET/PST stage. This includes 15,782 female candidates, 1,81,251 male candidates shortlisted against State/UT-wise vacancies, and 375 male candidates specifically shortlisted for the Secretariat Security Force (SSF). The selection process also includes category-wise cut-off marks, which have been published alongside the result lists.
For the SSF category, the cut-off marks are set at 146.17817 for General/UR, 145.55766 for OBC, 144.20658 for EWS, 140.95414 for SC, 135.03155 for ST, and 100.52099 for Ex-servicemen. Candidates are reminded that the final merit list is determined solely by performance in the Computer-Based Examination, while the upcoming physical and medical tests serve as qualifying requirements.
To view the results, candidates should navigate to the Notice Board section on the official SSC website. The commission has provided separate PDF lists for different groups: List-I for female candidates and List-II for male candidates (excluding those shortlisted for SSF). Candidates are advised to use the search function within these documents to locate their specific roll numbers.
The commission also clarified the status of certain candidates whose results were not included in the main lists. Specifically, 60 candidates have had their results withheld for various administrative reasons, 3 candidates are affected by ongoing court cases, and 88 candidates have been debarred by the commission. Moving forward, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), acting as the nodal force, will be responsible for issuing call letters for the PET and PST stages. Candidates should monitor the official portal for further updates regarding the schedule for these physical assessments.
