The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) in Telangana has officially released the examination fee schedule for the upcoming Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Public Examinations, scheduled for March 2027. This notification applies to all regular students, candidates reappearing for exams after previous attempts, as well as those enrolled in Open School (OSSC) and vocational streams.
Students are required to coordinate directly with the headmasters or principals of their respective schools to process their payments. To ensure a smooth registration process, candidates are encouraged to complete their fee submissions well within the initial deadlines to avoid the additional financial burden of late fees.
The board has established a tiered payment structure based on specific timeframes. The window for submitting examination fees without any late charges opens on October 30, 2026, and concludes on November 16, 2026. For those unable to meet this initial deadline, the DGE has provided three subsequent periods where payments will be accepted with an accompanying late fee.
Payments submitted between November 18 and December 1, 2026, will incur a late fee of INR 50. A late fee of INR 200 applies to payments made from December 3 to December 14, 2026. The final opportunity to register, which requires a late fee of INR 500, runs from December 16 to December 28, 2026.
The examination fee is determined by the candidate's specific course category and the number of subjects being taken. For students appearing for all six subjects, the fee is set at INR 125, while those appearing for up to three subjects must pay INR 110. Candidates enrolled in vocational courses are required to pay an additional fee of INR 60 on top of the standard SSC examination fee. Students who believe they may be eligible for fee exemptions under current government regulations should verify their status with their school administration before making any payments.
To complete the registration, students must contact their school authorities to confirm the exact amount due, provide necessary personal and academic details, and finalize the payment through the school's designated method. It is essential for students to obtain a receipt or acknowledgement of their payment and verify that their examination data has been correctly submitted to the board. Meanwhile, schools are tasked with depositing the collected fees via the Cyber Treasury and submitting student nominal rolls to the District Educational Officer (DEO) according to a strict schedule that follows the student payment deadlines.
