The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay is set to conclude the regular registration period for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) 2027 tomorrow, October 31, 2026. Prospective students who intend to pursue a Bachelor of Design (B.Des) degree at participating institutions are encouraged to finalise their applications before the deadline to avoid incurring extra costs.
All candidates must complete their registration and process the required application fee through the official portal at uceed.iitb.ac.in. This deadline marks the end of the standard application window, after which a late fee will be applicable for any further submissions.
For applicants who may miss the initial cutoff, IIT Bombay has provided a secondary window for registration. Candidates will still be able to submit their application forms between November 1 and November 6, 2026; however, these late submissions will incur an additional late fee of INR 500. The portal for late registration is scheduled to close strictly at 5:00 PM on November 6, 2026.
Following the conclusion of the registration process, the examination cycle will continue with the release of admit cards, which are scheduled to be made available to candidates on January 1, 2027. The UCEED 2027 examination itself is slated to take place on January 17, 2027.
To register for the entrance exam, candidates should visit the official website at uceed.iitb.ac.in and navigate to the registration portal. The application process requires candidates to provide accurate personal and academic details. Additionally, applicants must upload necessary documentation, including a photograph, signature, and proof of age, along with any other applicable certificates as specified by the examination authority.
Once the details are entered and documents are uploaded, candidates must complete the online fee payment to successfully submit their application. It is advised that all applicants review their information thoroughly before final submission to ensure compliance with the requirements set by IIT Bombay.
