The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has officially opened the correction window for students registered for the upcoming Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations in 2027. This facility allows students and school authorities to rectify discrepancies in academic records to ensure that registration details are accurate before the final examinations commence.
Students are advised to review their registration information carefully and coordinate with their respective school principals to initiate any necessary changes. The board has provided a structured process for these updates, distinguishing between information that can be modified through the online portal and more significant changes that require offline submission to the District Inspector of Schools (DIOS).
For online updates, school principals are required to log in to the official UPMSP portal at upmsp.edu.in. Through this interface, they can correct details such as the student's name, spelling errors in names, subject or category information, gender, caste, examination medium, and student photographs. Additionally, incorrect High School roll numbers entered during Class 11 registration can also be rectified online. The deadline for completing these online corrections is midnight on November 12, 2026.
Certain categories of information cannot be altered through the online portal and must be handled via an offline process. These include corrections to a student's date of birth, full name changes, or modifications to the full names of a student's parents. Furthermore, any requests for the deletion or restoration of student details must be submitted directly to the office of the District Inspector of Schools. For these offline requests, school principals must submit the necessary supporting documentation to the DIOS office by November 16, 2026.
The UPMSP has emphasized that this is a critical window for ensuring the accuracy of examination records, and no further opportunities for corrections will be provided once these deadlines have passed. Students are encouraged to verify their details with their school administration immediately to avoid any complications during the examination process.
The board has already outlined the schedule for the 2027 academic cycle, noting that the Class 12 examinations are slated to take place from February 5 to February 24, 2027. Practical examinations for Class 12 students are scheduled to be conducted throughout January and February 2027. As the examination season approaches, students should remain in contact with their schools for updates regarding their admit cards and final examination schedules.
