ABVMU Opens Registration for UP CNET 2026 Special Stray Round Counselling

Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU) has officially opened the registration window for the UP CNET 2026 special stray round of counselling. This final phase of the admission process is specifically designed to fill remaining vacant seats in the four-year B.Sc. Nursing programme across participating institutions.

Candidates who wish to participate in this round must complete their registration through the official ABVMU website at abvmucet26.co.in. The university has set a strict deadline for the online registration process, which will conclude on September 25, 2026, at 6:00 PM. Following the registration period, the university will release the reporting schedule and specific venue details for the physical counselling session at 8:00 PM on the same day.

Eligibility Criteria and Registration Process

Participation in the special stray round is restricted to specific categories of qualified candidates. Eligible applicants include those who did not participate in any previous counselling rounds, those who participated but were not allotted a seat, and candidates who were allotted a seat but did not complete the admission process. Additionally, individuals who secured a seat but officially resigned on or before July 27, 2026, are eligible to apply. Conversely, candidates who are currently admitted to a college or those who resigned after the July 27 deadline are not permitted to participate in this round.

To register, candidates must log in to the official portal using their existing CNET 2026 credentials, including their Registration ID and password. While certain personal details such as the candidate's name and parental information will be pre-filled, applicants are required to update their gender, date of birth, and category if necessary. Students who were appearing for their Class 12 examinations at the time of their initial application must also update their final marks and upload the relevant Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets. A non-refundable registration fee of INR 500 is mandatory for all participants.

Counselling Schedule and Venue Details

The physical counselling process, which includes document verification and final seat allotment, is tentatively scheduled for September 28, 2026. All candidates who successfully complete the online registration are required to print their registration form and present it at the designated venue. The counselling sessions will be held at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University campus, located at CG City, Sultanpur Road, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
