The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has officially released the provisional list of examination centres for the upcoming 2027 Class 10 and 12 board examinations. A total of 7,526 centres have been proposed across the state to facilitate the smooth conduct of the High School and Intermediate assessments. This figure marks an increase of 78 centres compared to the 7,448 centres utilized during the previous academic year.

The provisional list, which is currently available for review on the official UPMSP website, provides a district-wise breakdown of the schools selected to host the examinations. The board’s selection process includes a mix of government, government-aided, and unaided private institutions. Notably, the number of unaided private schools included in the proposal has risen to 3,388, up from 3,054 in the previous year's initial selection.

Exam Centre Allocation and Upcoming Deadlines

Following the initial publication of the provisional list, the board provided a window for schools and relevant authorities to submit objections regarding the proposed allocations, which concluded on October 28, 2026. With the objection period now closed, the UPMSP has moved into the verification and revision phase of the centre-allocation process. The board has outlined a clear timeline to ensure the final list is prepared in a systematic manner.

According to the official schedule, the District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) is required to forward the district-approved lists by November 6, 2026. A revised list is slated for publication on November 16, 2026, which will be followed by a final opportunity for stakeholders to raise further objections until November 21, 2026. The definitive list of examination centres is scheduled to be released on November 27, 2026.

The current distribution of the 7,526 proposed centres includes 862 government schools, 3,276 government-aided secondary schools, and 3,388 unaided private schools. While the total number of centres has increased, the board has noted that the overall candidate count for the 2027 cycle has seen a decline compared to the previous examination period. Students and parents are advised to monitor the official UPMSP portal for the publication of the final centre list, which will confirm the specific locations for the upcoming board examinations.
