The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has extended the deadline to challenge the provisional answer keys of the Higher Secondary (HS) Semester 3 Examination 2027. Students can now submit objections against the answer keys until November 2, 2026, through the council's official website, wbchse.wb.gov.in.
The extension gives candidates three additional days to review the provisional answers and report discrepancies. The objection window was initially scheduled to remain open from October 27 to October 30.
Both regular candidates who appeared for the HS Semester 3 examinations and students who took the supplementary examination are eligible to challenge the provisional answer keys.
According to the revised schedule, the online objection facility will remain available until 3 PM on November 2. Candidates must submit their challenges through the council's designated online portal and pay the prescribed fee.
WB HS Semester 3 Answer Key 2027: Objection Fee
As per the earlier answer key notification, candidates are required to pay Rs 200 per question per subject to raise an objection. Students should carefully review the provisional answer keys before submitting their challenges and follow the instructions provided on the official portal.
The council will examine the objections received from candidates before finalising the answer keys. If a challenge is found to be valid, the fee paid for the corresponding objection will be refunded to the candidate's bank account, as specified in the earlier notification.
