XLRI Expands XAT 2027 Participating Colleges List with 17 New Associate Institutes

XLRI Jamshedpur has officially expanded the list of participating institutes for the upcoming Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2027. The management entrance examination, which serves as a gateway to over 250 business schools across India, will now include 17 additional associate institutes, offering candidates a broader range of options for their postgraduate management education.

The newly added institutions represent a diverse group of business schools and universities now accepting XAT scores for their admission processes. Among the latest additions to the list are Mahindra University, RV University, Accman Institute of Management, ABBS School of Management, Alliance University, Amrita School of Business, Bennett University, and the Arun Jaitley National Institute of Financial Management (AJNIFM). Furthermore, the Xavier Institute of Management and Informatics (XIMI) in Jaipur has joined as a new member of the Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI).

Important Details for XAT 2027 Applicants

With the registration window currently active, candidates are encouraged to review the updated list of participating colleges before finalising their applications. It is important for students to note that while XAT scores are widely accepted, the examination body, XLRI, manages the test itself, while individual institutions maintain their own distinct admission criteria. Consequently, candidates interested in applying to these newly added associate institutes must ensure they check the specific admission requirements for each college and complete any necessary separate application forms required by those institutions.

The XAT 2027 examination is scheduled to take place on Sunday, January 3, 2027. The test will be conducted in a single session from 2 pm to 5 pm. Prospective students have until December 6, 2026, to complete their registration process. The application fee for the examination is set at INR 2,300. Candidates can access the official XAT website to submit their applications and view the comprehensive, updated list of all participating colleges and their respective locations.
