The admission process for UG & PG programmes at GNIOT is based on both merit and entrance exams. Candidates must meet the minimum eligibility requirements to gain admission to various courses. The GNIOT admission process involves several steps. Below are the complete details regarding GNIOT course admissions for 2025:
Step 1: GNIOT Application Form
Candidates interested in the PGDM course at GNIOT must complete an online application form, which can be submitted either online or offline. Additionally, candidates are required to pay an application fee of INR 1,200 through credit card, debit card, or net banking.
Step 2: Selection Rounds
Admissions for courses such as BBA, BCA, MCA, etc., at GNIOT are based on the academic records of the previous qualifying examination, followed by UPTAC counselling. For admission to the BTech course, candidates must qualify for either the JEE Main/CUET UG or the GNIOT Online Test.
In a similar manner, admission to PGDM courses at GNIOT is entirely based on entrance exams. Eligible candidates are selected based on their scores from CMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT/GMAT and the GIMS Aptitude Test (GAT). The final selection is determined by the candidates' performance in Group Discussions and Personal Interview rounds, conducted by the GIMS admission panel appointed by the director for that academic year.
