IISc Bangalore is a public university that provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in Engineering, Sciences, Management, and Design. Established in 1909, the university is situated in Bangalore. • Param Hans Philanthropies has established a Computational Oncology center at IISc Bangalore, with the opening ceremony taking place on Nov 2, 2023. The Param Hansa Centre for Computational Oncology (PHCCO) will focus on research involving predictive and quantitative mathematical models related to cancer progression, metastasis, and tumor relapse.
• IISc Bangalore has announced the Distinguished Alumni Awards 2023, where five exceptional scientists and engineers will be honored with the Distinguished Alumni Awards of the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) for the year 2023.

IISc Bangalore is ranked 2nd in the overall category and 211th by the NIRF and QS World 2025 rankings, respectively. Additionally, the university is affiliated with All Indian Universities (AIU) and the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU). It has received a NAAC ‘A’ grade accreditation from UGC.
