The most affordable program is the MDes, costing only INR 18,000, while the BTech program is the most expensive, with a tuition fee of INR 8 lakh. Tuition fee waivers are available for students from the PwD category.

• Fee Structure: The IISc BTech fee structure consists of various components, including tuition, hostel fees, and security deposits. Some fees are charged only once by IISc Bangalore, while others are recurring and payable on a semester or annual basis. The total fee amount may also vary based on the selected course or area of specialization.
• Payment Installments: Annual fees can be paid in three installments: the first installment of 35% is due between August and October, the second installment of 35% is due in November and December, and the third installment of 30% is due from January to July.
• Payment Modes: The institute only accepts online payments via Credit/Debit card, Netbanking, Rupay cards, and UPI.
• Hostel Fee: The hostel fee ranges from INR 3,600 to 7,200 annually, depending on the course and room type. Rooms are available in both double sharing and single sharing formats. The hostel fee varies for General category and SC/ST category students. The institute also offers provisions for married apartments.
• Other Hostel Fees: Additional fee components for hostel residents include establishment charges, amenities charges, electricity and water charges, and mess amenities charges.
