IEM Kolkata Application Process 2027

The application process for IEM Kolkata in 2027 is conducted online. Candidates applying through IEMCET/IEMJET or CAT/MAT/XAT must complete the form on the institute's website. Follow the steps below to apply:

1: Visit the official IEM Kolkata website (https://iem.edu.in/)

2: Click on the 'Admission' tab on the Home page.

3: Click on 'Apply Online' for your chosen course.

4: Complete all the required details in the form.

5: Upload the necessary documents and submit the form.

Steps to apply for IEMJEE/IEMCET

There are no examination fees for IEMJEE and IEMCET.

• Navigate to the exam portal for IEMJEE/IEMCET at https://exam.iem.edu.in/.
• Fill in the required details and click on 'Submit'.
• Select the course and provide your date of birth and gender.
• Complete the remaining details and choose your exam date and slot.
• Upload a scanned photograph and signature to submit the form.
• Download your admit card.

Aspirants can check their results on the portal as soon as they are available.

Selection Process

The institute admits students based on their entrance exam scores or merit. It also takes into account the candidates' academic performance for final selection. The institute conducts IEMJEE for BTech and IEMCET for all other UG and PG courses. Aspirants need CAT, MAT, or XAT scores for MBA admission. Selected candidates will also be invited for an aptitude test, followed by a group discussion and personal interview round for the MBA program.

Counselling & Admission Confirmation

The institute will notify candidates about their selection. Shortlisted aspirants must participate in the IEMJEE/IEMCET Counselling. They are required to attend document verification and pay the IEM Kolkata fees to secure their seats at the institute. Candidates who are allotted seats through state-level counselling must also report to the campus. Seats in BTech are allocated via JEE Main/WBJEE, WBJEE JECA for MCA, and GATE/WBUT PGET for MTech.

All fees paid are non-refundable for any reason. Only the Security Deposit will be refunded after necessary adjustments are made.
