AACCC Postpones AIAPGET 2026 Counselling Process Due to Administrative Reasons

The Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) has officially announced the postponement of the counselling process for the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2026. This decision, which affects candidates seeking admission into postgraduate medical programs, was communicated through a formal notification released by the committee.

According to the official statement, the entire seat allotment process has been put on hold indefinitely. The committee cited unavoidable administrative reasons for this sudden change in the admission schedule. As a result, the registration and choice-filling process for Round 1, which many students were anticipating, will not proceed as originally planned.

Impact on AIAPGET 2026 Candidates and Next Steps

The postponement directly impacts all qualified candidates who are eligible for admission to MD and MS courses across various disciplines, including Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and Homoeopathy. These programs are offered at institutions across India, and the AACCC is responsible for managing the central counselling process under the guidance of the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) and the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH).

At this stage, the committee has not provided a specific timeline for when the process will resume. However, the official notification confirms that the revised counselling schedule will be published in due course. In addition to the updated dates, the committee has indicated that a revised seat matrix will also be released to reflect any necessary adjustments to the available intake capacity.

Candidates are strongly advised to refrain from relying on unofficial sources for updates regarding the admission process. The AACCC has explicitly stated that all future announcements, including the revised schedule and the updated seat matrix, will be made available exclusively through their official website at aaccc.gov.in. Students should monitor this portal regularly to stay informed about the next steps in their application journey.
