Candidates applying for MTech admissions under the sports category are required to participate in a mandatory skills test conducted by the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP).

The assessment is scheduled to take place on September 28, 2026, at the Acharya Nagarjuna University campus in Guntur. All eligible candidates must report to the designated venue by 8:00 AM to undergo physical eligibility verification, which is a critical component of the ongoing web-counselling process.

Guidelines and Required Documentation for SAAP Skills Test

To ensure a smooth verification process, authorities have outlined specific requirements for all participants. Candidates are strictly required to arrive in appropriate sports attire and footwear suitable for their specific discipline; failure to adhere to this dress code will result in immediate disqualification from the process. Furthermore, as the venue provides only standard ground facilities, applicants must bring their own specialized sports equipment, such as rackets, bats, or safety gear, depending on their sport.

In addition to physical readiness, candidates must present a set of essential documents for verification. These include the AP PGECET rank card and hall ticket, the Class 10 or SSC marksheet, original sports merit certificates at the state or national level, and a valid government-issued identification card.
