Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has officially opened the application window for its Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) programme for the 2026-27 academic session. The course is offered at the university's Rajiv Gandhi South Campus, located in Mirzapur. Prospective students seeking admission to this programme are required to submit their applications through the university's dedicated admission portal at admission.bhu.ac.in.
The registration process, which began on September 1, 2026, is open for a limited period. Candidates are advised to ensure that all personal and academic information provided during the online registration process aligns strictly with their NEET UG 2026 records. The university has emphasised that any discrepancies between the application data and official NEET UG documentation will not be entertained during the admission process.
The deadline for submitting online applications is September 20, 2026, at 11:59 PM. It is critical for applicants to complete their registration before this cutoff, as the university will not consider candidates who fail to meet the submission deadline for the seat allotment process. Following the conclusion of the application window, the university plans to release the results for the first round of seat allotment on September 28, 2026.
The admission process is structured across multiple rounds to facilitate the allocation of seats. According to the current schedule, the second round of results is tentatively set for October 1, 2026, followed by the third round on October 5, 2026. For candidates who are not accommodated in the initial rounds, the university has indicated that the notification regarding the vacant seats round for the 2026 academic session is scheduled to be announced on October 14, 2026.
Admission to the B.V.Sc. & A.H. programme at BHU is determined based on the scores obtained by candidates in the NEET UG 2026 examination. Applicants are encouraged to review the specific eligibility criteria, including category-wise requirements for reserved category candidates, directly through the official BHU admission portal. By ensuring all documentation is accurate and submitted within the stipulated timeframe, candidates can participate in the upcoming seat allotment rounds as per the university's official timeline.
