Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), Mumbai, has officially released the provisional vacancy matrix for its institute-level spot admission round for the 2026-27 academic year. The announcement confirms that 70 seats remain available across nine different BTech programmes, providing a final opportunity for eligible candidates to secure a spot at the prestigious institution.

The admission process is open to both Maharashtra state and All India candidates. The institute has structured the selection process based on merit, ensuring that the remaining seats are filled according to established eligibility criteria and the availability of positions within specific branches. A specific policy has been established regarding seats that may become vacant during the first round. If a student who has already secured a seat at VJTI decides to cancel their admission due to an offer from another institution, those specific seats will not be filled during the September 11 and 12 sessions. Instead, these positions will be carried over and included in the vacancy pool for the second round on September 13.
