Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2026: Round 3 Choice Filling Process Begins

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has officially commenced the choice filling process for the third round of the Under Graduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC) 2026. Eligible candidates who have qualified for the NEET UG 2026 examination can now submit and lock their preferred colleges and courses through the official board website.

This phase of the counselling process is critical for students seeking admission into various medical and allied health science programmes across Bihar. The participating institutions include government and private colleges offering MBBS, BDS, Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.), and Bachelor of Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc.) courses.

Candidates participating in the third round must adhere to the timeline set by the BCECEB to ensure their applications are processed. The deadline to complete the choice filling and locking process is October 9, 2026, at 11:59 pm. Following the submission of preferences, the board will process the data to release the provisional seat allotment result on October 14, 2026.

Once the allotment results are published, successful candidates will be able to download their provisional allotment orders from October 14 to October 17, 2026. Subsequently, the document verification and formal admission process at the allotted institutions is scheduled to take place between October 16 and October 17, 2026.

To participate in the Round 3 seat allocation, candidates should visit the official website at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in and navigate to the UGMAC-2026 section to access the online counselling portal. After logging in with their NEET UG 2026 roll number and password, applicants can select their preferred courses and colleges. It is essential to review these selections carefully before saving them.

While the board has noted that any saved choices that remain unlocked will be automatically locked after the deadline, it is strongly recommended that candidates complete the locking process manually to ensure accuracy. After confirming their preferences, candidates should download or print the final choice slip for their records.
