BRABU Opens Spot Admission and Application Correction Window for 2026-30 Session

Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University (BRABU), Muzaffarpur, has officially announced the commencement of its spot admission round for undergraduate programs for the 2026-2030 academic session. Starting tomorrow, September 2, 2026, the university will allow students to apply for vacant seats across its various constituent and affiliated degree colleges through the centralised online system.

In addition to the spot admission process, the university is providing a dedicated window for students to rectify any errors made in their previously submitted application forms. This dual-purpose facility is designed to streamline the final stages of the admission process, ensuring that candidates have the opportunity to update their details and secure their preferred campus placements before the academic cycle progresses further.

Application Process and Important Deadlines

Students intending to participate in the spot round or those needing to edit their existing applications must access the official University Management Information System (UMIS) portal at brabu.ac.in. The university has confirmed that the online portal will remain operational for these activities from September 2 until September 7, 2026. It is essential for applicants to complete their registrations and finalize any necessary corrections within this specified timeframe, as no extensions have been indicated.

The university administration has issued clear directives to all constituent and affiliated colleges regarding the upcoming admission phase. Once the application window closes, colleges are required to conduct a thorough physical verification of all student documents. Principals have been instructed to exercise strict scrutiny during this phase; any applications found to have discrepancies or mismatches between the submitted data and the physical documents will be subject to rejection.
