The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to release the revaluation results for the Class 12 compartment examinations held earlier this year. While the board has not yet announced a specific date for the publication of these results, students who submitted applications for the verification of their marks can expect an update on the official website, cbse.gov.in, in the near future.
The revaluation process was open to students who had previously obtained a scanned copy of their answer sheets. The application window for this service was active from September 7 to September 8, 2026. These results follow the compartment examinations conducted on July 28, 2026, the results of which were initially declared on August 12, 2026, recording a pass percentage of 53.08 percent.
For the 2026 academic cycle, CBSE implemented revised fee structures for post-result services to assist students. The cost for obtaining a scanned copy of an answer sheet is set at INR 100, while the verification of marks is also priced at INR 100 per subject. For students opting for re-evaluation, the fee is INR 25 per question. It is important for candidates to note that while marks may increase following this process, there is also a possibility of a decrease, and the revised marks will be considered final.
In instances where a student's marks increase following the re-evaluation, the board has confirmed that the full re-evaluation fee will be refunded. Students are advised to monitor the official CBSE portal regularly for the release of the results. Once the link is activated, candidates will need to navigate to the homepage, select the relevant link for the Class 12 compartment revaluation results, and log in using their roll number and other required credentials.
Upon submitting the necessary details, students will be able to view their updated marks on the screen. It is recommended that candidates download and save a digital copy of the result for their personal records. Please be aware that the results published online are provisional in nature. The official, updated marksheets will be provided to students through their respective schools at a later date.
