The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially released the seat allotment results for Round 2 of the NEET UG 2026 counselling process. Candidates who participated in the second round of seat allocation for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats can now verify their status by visiting the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in.
This latest development follows the submission of college and course preferences by eligible students. The allotment results are determined based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's NEET UG rank, the specific choices submitted during the preference-filling window, their category, and the availability of seats in medical and dental institutions across the country.
To view the results, candidates should navigate to the official MCC portal and select the UG Medical Counselling section. From there, they can access the link for the NEET UG 2026 Round 2 Seat Allotment Result. The document is provided in a PDF format, allowing students to search for their individual roll numbers to confirm their allotted college and course.
Following the publication of the results, the process for downloading allotment letters is scheduled to begin on September 12, 2026. Candidates who have been successfully allotted a seat are required to download their official allotment letter and complete the reporting process at their designated institute. The window for reporting to the allotted colleges is open from September 12 to September 18, 2026.
The MCC has emphasized that candidates must adhere to the specified reporting timeline. Failure to report to the allotted college by the September 18 deadline will result in the forfeiture of the seat, and the candidate will not be granted admission. Students are advised to ensure all necessary documentation is prepared in advance of their visit to the allotted institution to facilitate a smooth admission process.
