The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the date sheet for the Class 12 special examinations, specifically tailored for eligible students residing in West Asia. This special assessment cycle is designed to support candidates who were unable to participate in certain regular board examinations due to the prevailing situation in the region.

According to the newly published schedule, the examinations are set to commence on October 23, 2026, and will conclude on October 28, 2026. Students can access the comprehensive, subject-wise timetable directly through the official board website at cbse.gov.in to assist with their final preparations.

Exam Schedule and Operational Details

The examination window spans six days, covering a wide array of academic and skill-based subjects. Most papers, including core subjects such as Political Science, Economics, Mathematics, and English Core, are scheduled to be held in the morning session from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. However, the board has noted that some specific papers will have a shorter duration, such as Physical Activity Trainer and Artificial Intelligence, which are slated for a two-hour window ending at 12:30 pm.

The examination series begins on October 23 with papers including Political Science, Economics, Mathematics, and Applied Mathematics. Subsequent days will feature subjects such as Psychology, Business Studies, Biology, Computer Science, and Informatics Practices, culminating with the English Core paper on October 28.

Admit Card and Examination Guidelines

In preparation for the upcoming tests, the CBSE has announced that admit cards will be made available to eligible candidates starting October 12, 2026. Students are required to download their hall tickets using the same login credentials utilized during the application process for these special exams.

Upon downloading the document, candidates must verify all printed information, including their name, roll number, subject codes, and the designated examination centre address. The board has advised students to strictly adhere to the reporting times mentioned on their admit cards and to ensure they do not carry any prohibited electronic devices or unauthorized materials into the examination hall. Following the instructions provided on the admit card is essential for a smooth examination experience.
