The Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC) in Gujarat has officially released the schedule for the second round of counselling for undergraduate medical and dental admissions. Students seeking admission to MBBS and BDS programmes across the state can begin their online registration and PIN purchase process starting September 1, 2026.

This phase of the counselling process is open to eligible candidates, including those who may have missed the registration window during the first round. Participants are required to complete the necessary formalities through the official ACPUGMEC portal to be considered for seat allotment in the second round of the academic session.

Key Dates and Registration Procedures

The registration window and the facility for online PIN purchase will remain active from September 1, 2026, until September 4, 2026. To participate, candidates must purchase an online PIN via the official website. The total financial requirement for this process is INR 11,000, which includes a non-refundable registration fee of INR 1,000 and a refundable security deposit of INR 10,000.

Following the online registration, candidates are required to undergo a mandatory document verification process. This stage is scheduled to take place between September 2, 2026, and September 5, 2026. Applicants must secure a prior appointment for document verification and the submission of self-attested photocopies at a designated Help Centre. When printing their registration slip, candidates will be able to select their preferred Help Centre and appointment date.

Document Verification and Help Centre Guidelines

During the verification process, candidates are required to present their original documents along with the necessary self-attested photocopies at their chosen Help Centre. It is essential for students to adhere to the designated schedule to ensure their application remains valid for the counselling process.

The Help Centres will facilitate these sessions during specific operating hours: from 10 am to 4 pm on weekdays (Monday to Friday) and from 10 am to 12 noon on Saturdays. Candidates are advised to monitor the official ACPUGMEC website for any further updates or specific notifications regarding the counselling procedure as the process moves forward.
