The Pt. B. D. Sharma University of Health Sciences (UHSR), Rohtak, has officially released the counselling schedule for the Haryana NEET UG Special Stray Round for the 2026 academic session. This round covers admissions for MBBS courses and the fifth round of BDS counselling, providing a final opportunity for eligible candidates to secure seats in medical and dental colleges across the state.

Interested candidates can access the registration portal and submit their preferences through the official website at uhsrugcounselling.com. The university has set a deadline of November 7, 2026, for both fresh registrations and the submission of choices. Applicants are advised to ensure their choices are locked by 11:59 PM on the same day to be considered for the seat allocation process.

Key Dates and Admission Procedures

Following the conclusion of the registration and choice-filling window, the university will publish the provisional seat allocation results on November 10, 2026. Candidates who are allotted seats will then be required to complete the online payment of their provisional tuition fees. This payment window will remain open from November 10 until 5 PM on November 14, 2026.

The admission process will proceed with physical document verification, which is scheduled to take place on November 15, 2026, at the Sushruta Auditorium located at the Pt. B. D. Sharma University of Health Sciences in Rohtak. The final step for successful candidates is to report to their allotted institutes to complete the joining process, which must be finalized by 4 PM on November 16, 2026.

Eligibility and Security Deposit Requirements

Participation in this round requires the payment of a security deposit. For candidates seeking state quota seats in government or government-aided medical and dental colleges, the security fee is set at INR 10,000. A reduced fee of INR 5,000 applies to candidates from the SC, SCD, BCA, BCB, EWS, and PwBD categories of Haryana.

The university has clarified that students who have already registered for previous rounds—specifically Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, or the regular Stray Round—do not need to register again, though they must ensure the required security amount is deposited to maintain eligibility. Notably, candidates who were allotted seats in the third round or the previous stray round are ineligible to participate. Furthermore, those who have already joined an MBBS or BDS seat through All India counselling or any other state counselling process are excluded from this round, regardless of whether they have since resigned from their previously allotted seat.
