Background of the MAHA TET 2026 Postponement

The decision to halt the examination was prompted by intelligence regarding a potential security breach in the Bhiwandi area of Thane. Authorities received information suggesting that certain individuals had gained unauthorized access to details concerning the MAHA TET 2026 question paper. Acting on this intelligence, the Bhiwandi Police conducted a raid and reportedly recovered materials that matched the content of the examination paper. A formal case was subsequently registered, leading the MSCE to postpone the test to maintain the integrity and transparency of the recruitment process.
