MH CET Law 2026: Registration for 5-Year LLB Round 4 Closes Today

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell is set to conclude the registration window for the fourth round of the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for the 5-year LLB programme today, September 28, 2026. This final phase of counselling is specifically designated for institutional-level admissions, commonly referred to as ACAP seats, providing a last opportunity for students to secure a place in law colleges across the state.

Eligible candidates who have not yet secured a seat in the previous rounds of the admission process are encouraged to participate. The CET Cell has clarified that for this specific round, it is mandatory for all participating students to submit fresh choices. Candidates have the flexibility to either complete a new application form or modify their previously submitted forms through the official portal at llb5cap26.mahacet.org.

Document Submission Deadline Extended

In a related development, the State CET Cell has announced an extension for the submission of original documents. Recognizing that several candidates had encountered difficulties in presenting their required paperwork to their designated institutions, the authorities have pushed the deadline to September 28, 2026, at 12:00 noon.

This extension applies specifically to the submission of original EWS, TVC, or NCL certificates. Students are required to present these documents to their respective college offices within the stipulated timeframe. Following the physical verification of these documents, principals of the participating Colleges of Legal Education are tasked with scanning and uploading the verified copies directly to the candidate's personal CAP account. All such administrative procedures must be completed by the 12:00 noon deadline today to ensure the validity of the admission application.
