The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, is set to close the registration window for the extended institutional round of the 5-year LLB counselling process today, October 8, 2026. This final opportunity is intended for students seeking admission into integrated law programmes across various institutions in the state for the current academic year.

Candidates who have yet to register or those who need to update their existing application details are advised to complete the necessary procedures via the official portal at llb5cap26.mahacet.org. The process includes both fresh registration and the submission of college preferences, which are essential for seat allocation in this round.

Important Deadlines and Merit List Schedule

The authorities have emphasised that the submission of college options is a mandatory step for all applicants. Students who fail to finalise and submit their preferred college choices by the end of the day will not be included in the institutional merit list. This list serves as the primary document for determining seat allotment for the extended round.

Following the closure of the registration window, the merit list for this institutional round is scheduled to be released tomorrow, October 9, 2026. According to the official notification, individual colleges will publish their respective merit lists on their notice boards starting from 10:00 AM.

Once the merit lists are published, successful candidates will be required to proceed with physical reporting to their allotted colleges. This phase is scheduled to take place between October 9 and October 10, 2026. During the physical reporting process, students must present all required original academic documents, their entrance exam scorecards, and relevant certificates to confirm their admission. Failure to report within the stipulated timeframe may result in the forfeiture of the allotted seat.
