Reporting for MP NEET 2026 UG Round 1 Commences Today; Dates for Online Resignation and Upgradation Window Announced

The Madhya Pradesh Directorate of Medical Education (DME) has officially commenced the reporting process for the first round of the NEET UG 2026 counseling today, August 25. Candidates who have been allotted seats in the MBBS and BDS programs are required to report to their designated medical or dental colleges for document verification and admission formalities. This process will remain open until September 3, 2026, providing candidates with a window to complete their admissions.

Initially scheduled for an earlier date, the MP NEET Round 1 seat allotment result was revised and announced on August 24, 2026. Candidates must report in person to their respective colleges, where they will undergo document verification and finalize their admission. The reporting period is crucial, as it ensures that all necessary paperwork is completed before the candidates can officially enroll in their chosen programs.

For those who have been allotted a seat but decide not to pursue the admission, an online resignation or cancellation facility is available. This option is open from today until September 3, 2026, at 7 PM. Candidates are advised to carefully follow the instructions provided to ensure a smooth cancellation process if they choose to withdraw from the admission.

Additionally, candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seats have the option to participate in the upgradation process for Round 2. This upgradation option can be exercised from August 25 to September 3, 2026, until 11:55 PM, and must be indicated at the time of admission at the college level. This flexibility allows candidates to seek better opportunities if they wish to enhance their educational prospects.
