The Rajasthan NEET UG Medical and Dental Admission/Counselling Board has released the seat matrix for the special stray vacancy round, identifying a total of 157 vacant MBBS and BDS seats across the state. This phase of the counselling process is critical for candidates still seeking admission to medical and dental programmes for the 2026 academic year.

A significant detail for applicants is the absence of government quota seats in this round. According to the official notification, all available vacancies are restricted to management quota positions or seats within private medical and dental colleges. While there are 946 MBBS seats reported as vacant nationwide, the current Rajasthan seat matrix confirms that no government-funded seats remain open for this specific round of counselling.

Application and Verification Process for Rajasthan NEET UG 2026

Candidates interested in participating in the Rajasthan NEET UG 2026 special stray round must adhere to a strict offline verification schedule. The admission board has mandated that all eligible students appear in person to submit their original documents. This process is scheduled to take place from November 6 to November 7, 2026. Verification will be conducted daily between 9 am and 3 pm at the Academic Block of SMS Medical College, Jaipur.

Following the document verification phase, the board is set to release the provisional combined merit list for the Rajasthan NEET UG 2026 counselling process on November 7, 2026. Students are advised to monitor the official communications from the admission board closely to ensure they meet all requirements for this final stage of the seat allocation process. The current round covers special stray vacancy admissions for MBBS courses and round 5 admissions for BDS programmes.
