The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) have officially announced the commencement of the application process for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) graduate-level recruitment for 2026. Aspiring candidates looking to secure one of the 3,477 available positions can begin submitting their online applications starting October 8, 2026.

This recruitment drive, conducted under Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) No. 06/2026, aims to fill various graduate-level roles across the Indian Railways network. The application window is scheduled to remain active for nearly a month, with the final deadline for submission set for November 6, 2026, at 11:59 PM.

Breakdown of Vacancies and Application Details

The 3,477 vacancies are distributed across four distinct graduate-level posts. The Goods Train Manager position holds the majority of the openings, accounting for 2,750 of the total vacancies. Other roles included in this recruitment cycle are the Senior Clerk cum Typist with 371 posts, the Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist with 300 posts, and the Chief Commercial-cum-Ticket Supervisor with 56 posts.

Candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria are required to submit their applications through the official regional websites of the Railway Recruitment Boards. The application process involves an initial registration step, followed by logging in with a registration ID and password or Aadhar credentials to complete the form, upload necessary documents, and process the application fee.
