The State Bank of India (SBI) is preparing to announce the results for the Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) preliminary examination. While the bank has not yet confirmed a specific date for the declaration of these results, current projections suggest that the outcome for the preliminary stage will be released in October 2026.
The preliminary examination for the 2026 recruitment cycle was successfully conducted on September 26 and 27. Following the completion of these tests, candidates are now awaiting the official notification that will determine who qualifies for the next phase of the selection process, the SBI Clerk Mains Examination. The bank will publish the results exclusively through its official careers website, and candidates are advised to monitor the portal for the latest updates.
Once the results are officially released, candidates will be able to access their status by visiting the SBI careers page at sbi.bank.in/web/careers/current-openings. To view the results, candidates should navigate to the Current Openings or Recruitment Results section, locate the link for the Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) recruitment, and follow the provided instructions to view the result PDF or login page.
It is important to note that the result PDF will allow candidates to check their roll numbers and overall status. In addition to the result, the bank will release the scorecard separately at a later stage. The scorecard is a vital document that contains the candidate's individual marks and other examination details. It is recommended that candidates download and save a copy of their scorecard once it becomes available, as it serves as a useful tool for assessing performance against the applicable cut-off marks.
The preliminary examination serves as a qualifying stage for the recruitment process. Candidates who successfully meet the required criteria in the prelims will become eligible to participate in the SBI Clerk Mains Examination. It should be noted that the marks obtained during the preliminary examination are not factored into the final selection process.
As the bank has not provided a fixed date, all candidates should rely solely on official notices posted on the SBI careers portal for confirmation. The bank continues to manage the recruitment process under Advertisement No. CRPD/CR/2026-27/17, and any further updates regarding the Mains examination schedule or result declarations will be communicated through the same official channel.
