The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Tamil Nadu, has officially released the list of candidates deemed ineligible for the 2026–2027 academic session of the TN NEET PG counselling process. This announcement concerns students who applied for admission into Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), and various Post Graduate Diploma programmes across the state.
Applicants can now verify their current status by visiting the official website at tnmedicalselection.net. The published lists cover candidates across several categories, including Government Quota (GQ), Management Quota (MQ), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), and minority quotas. The release serves as a critical update for those whose applications may have been flagged due to missing documentation or other identified discrepancies.
In response to the publication of these lists, the DMER has activated an online portal specifically designed to handle candidate grievances. This facility allows students who believe their application was incorrectly marked as ineligible to present their case and provide necessary clarifications or missing paperwork. The authorities have emphasised that this is a time-bound process, and the portal will remain operational only until October 28, 2026.
Candidates are advised to act promptly, as the administration has confirmed that no individual reminders or formal letters will be sent to those affected. Furthermore, the selection committee has stated that any grievances or requests for status reviews submitted after the October 28 deadline will not be entertained under any circumstances. It is essential for applicants to ensure all supporting documentation is uploaded correctly through the official portal before the window closes to avoid potential exclusion from the counselling process.
