The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has officially released the seat allocation results for the second round of the Phase 1 decentralised counselling process for 2026. Candidates who participated in this round can now access their allotment status by logging into the official website at wbjeeb.co.in using their registered credentials.

The seat allocation process has been conducted based on a combination of factors, including the candidates' individual ranks, the preferences submitted during the application process, and the availability of seats across the participating institutions. The board has clarified that this online portal is the sole medium through which the allocation results have been announced.

Admission Confirmation and Reporting Procedures

Candidates who have been successfully allocated a seat are required to complete the admission confirmation process by September 15, 2026, at 11:59 PM. To secure their allotted seat, candidates must pay a seat acceptance fee of INR 2000. This transaction can be completed online using various digital payment methods, including net banking, credit cards, or debit cards.

Following the successful payment of the acceptance fee, candidates are mandated to report physically to their respective allotted institutes to finalise their admission. The deadline for this physical reporting process is set for September 16, 2026, by 4:00 PM. Failure to complete the reporting process within the stipulated timeframe may result in the forfeiture of the allocated seat.

Withdrawal and Further Updates

For candidates who wish to opt out of the process, the board has provided a facility for withdrawal. Those intending to withdraw must confirm their admission cancellation directly through the official WBJEE decentralised admission portal. Candidates are advised to monitor the official website regularly for any further updates regarding the decentralised counselling schedule or additional rounds of seat allocation.
